On the studio version of this song, Rich was using a Telecaster equipped with a b-bender
playing the above part (this song has never been played live, but every Life Vest Jam
the band has played preceeded Black Moon Creeping, another song that utilizes a 
 It's tough to get it to sound just right without a b-bender (having the open note ring
bending the 2nd string is just about impossible), but this is as close as you're going 
get.

There is also an acoustic rhythm guitar on the studio version, and though it's tough to
exactly what that part is, my best guess after hearing what Rich plays during the live
Vest Jams is this:
